This ten-inch vinyl album collects all the known and still extant TV appearances by Buddy Holly and The Crickets, together with other rarities, on record for the first time anywhere. Included are The Crickets live appearance on BBC-TV's Off The Record in March 1958, their four US TV spots from the US Ed Sullivan shows and the Arthur Murray Dance Party, together with their interviews and lip-synch recordings from the Alan Freed and Dick Clark TV shows. Buddy's duet with Jerry Lee Lewis from a US radio show is also released here for the first time. Remastered by Chris Hopkins and John Beecher from original or improved sources, most of these historic recordings sound better than ever before. Packaging is the usual high standard you would expect from Rollercoaster. A CD release of this and other rare material will follow but for now this 10” LP album will make a fine addition to your collection.
