Rollercoaster Records
was founded in 1976. Since our first release by the
Crickets in 1977 we have continued to release what we
feel are important re-issues together with releases
featuring new material, mostly from 50s and 60s artists.
With only a few releases every year we try to make each
one worthwhile and interesting with quality sound and
informative packaging. If you have any comments, we’d
like to hear from you. 2001? It seems like only
yesterday it was 1959 - and for us it still is. You’ll
probably be pleased to hear that we’re sticking with
‘the old stuff’ in the 21st Century. Our list of albums
and EPs for which we have future plans is longer than
those we have released so far, and many long-awaited
releases have given new meaning to the phrase
‘long-term’; many of our customers have probably given
up on ever seeing some of them! But we’re determined to
get them finished and can only tell you they will be
