The
'Top Gear' Jukebox - Anyone who remembers John Peel's radio
programme, 'Top Gear', will know that the show was originally
produced by legendary BBC producer, Bernie Andrews, who had
previously worked on 'Saturday Club'. Bernie bought this 1959
Bal-Ami model 'J' juke box from us in the 70's to provide
entertainment in the 'Top Gear' office. BBC rules meant that it was
never permanently installed at the Beeb, but in Bernie's home it was
often to be heard at full volume during his celebrity parties,
attended by many of the artists who appeared on the programme. Still
currently stocked with Bernie's favourite 45s from the programme and
other oldies the jukebox is a classic with a great pedigree and some
star fingerprints on the select button! Bernie no longer has space
for it and has asked us to offer it for sale. It is in full working
order and may be purchased with or without records, the price with
records is £3,500 or without records only £3,000. We can also
provide records to your requirements. Please contact us
